After a quick 1 minute briefing at the back of the Gaming Bus the kids will enter and choose what console type and games they'd like to start on, all kids will have different individual preferences and abilities hence there's no set format. We help where needed right from the start and will assist with kids with anything they need from changing games to joining each others games, but we're also making sure everyone is having fun and can make suggestions where needed but ultimately all game choices are made by the kids. This is essentially how all Gaming Bus's work. We'll then seek to rotate them on different equipment like our twin driving set up so everyone is getting a go on what they like to the most.
Essentially yes, but in reality it's unlikely the group will agree to do the same game at the same time, or all have the knowledge of the game for it to be fair for them all. Most kids wont play a game they have no knowledge of or interest in so its best for them to choose as they go and if their choices aline they can do the same game together.
Yes of course, 1 member of our team (Scott himself) is there the whole time to run the Gaming Party from start to finish and helps where needed.
Yes, we cater for groups age 7 to 13. From turning Age 8 parties. So the kids need to be in Year 3 as a minimum. We're not insured for anyone inside under age 7 hence we can not accommodate children under age 7. We do not cater for groups older than age 13 or Adults unfortunately.
Unfortunately Not. The only people we like to have inside are the players, anyone other than the players can be a problem, the players are all seated and focused on gaming, 'little spectators' often don't like to 'just spectate' for long, before they can become a problem for our operator, especially if we're at full capacity.
It's a bit wider than a Range Rover, and we need 9 metres in length to park and operate, which is about the length of 2 Ford Focus's end to end.
Fortnite is an age 12 game, but In line with our terms we request that you as the booking party set the age limit for gaming. So if you were to set the age limit to Age 12 Games then Fortnite is allowed.
> As flat a surface as possible, slopes are not great.
> A parking spot suitable for our Gaming Van.
> A double plug socket within 25 metres of the Gaming Van.
> An internet router for us to plug into, just in case our on board internet is not good in your area.
No we neither provide food or drink or allow it inside the Gaming Bus. Usually a party lunch or dinner would be held in the house just before or after the booked gaming slot.
This is no problem, we have climate controlled heating and also Air conditioning for the gaming zone. Plus we are sheltered well from the elements with our special canopy and black out curtains at the rear of the Gaming Bus.
For a 1.5hr Gaming Party our Gaming Bus will use about £1.50 of your electricity. This is even whilst using our heating or air con (even at todays higher electric rates) it'll use less power than having your oven on.
We do have our own on board internet which is suitable for the vast majority of parties, but in the event of us not being able to pick up sufficient signal in your area on the day we would seek to plug into your internet router with our 50m long cable.
